Manufacturing & Construction

Building Profits with Ecojiva's Solar Solutions

“ Power interruptions require extensive recovery operations. Reliability is the key to maintaining growth. That's why a sustainable energy infrastructure is key to your organization’s success ”

Manufacturing and construction operations are among the most energy-intensive operations within the industrial sector today, as many manufacturing and fabrication facilities rely on heavy power production equipment to complete their work.

For example, the cement industry accounts for 5% of global CO₂ emissions, and approximately 10% of the cement industry’s CO ₂ emissions come directly from high electric usage. Similarly, fabrication facilities expend approximately 44% of their annual energy usage on:

✔ Dry pumps

✔ Abatement

✔ Power equipment

✔ Sub-fabrication activities

We can also create a unique storyboard for your space that showcases the daily generation and savings figures for your specific solar solution so that you and your customers can see your CO₂ and cost avoidance in real time.

These aspects of operation are often subject to unexpected shutdown, premature motor failure, voltage transients, and power frequency variation, which hinders productivity and profitability.

John and Jeff's 135kW Ground-Mount System

John and Jeff own a precast concrete products manufacturing and services company in rural Ohio. The business has served local customers and commercial, industrial, utility, and heavy highway contractors throughout the northeastern United States since 1932. John and Jeff’s commitment to their business is unsurpassed, and in 2015 they decided to implement a solar energy system at their site in order to better and more efficiently serve their customers.

Because John and Jeff had future plans to update several of the roof structures at their site, and there was plenty of available ground space in the area, a ground-mount installation was determined to be the best option for their business. Their 135kW solar energy system produces over 50% of their annual electric usages, and saves the business approximately $15,000 a year.
