U.S. school districts spend $6 billion each year on energy, second only to salaries. Kindergarten through high school buildings in the U.S. spend an average of 67 cents per square foot (ft2) on electricity. In a typical school building, lighting, space heating, and water heating represent the bulk of total use, making those systems the best targets for energy savings. It is one of the few expenses that can be decreased without affecting classroom instruction.

RECENT PROJECT:
South Christian High School now boasts a new 660kW Ground Mount which is used to offset their energy costs. Savings for the school are very meaningful for the community. The solar system also provides and excellent learning opportunity and set a great example for students.
